Finisterre IGT Maremma Toscana

Finisterre, the Landsend, which is, for us, the Mediterranean Sea, with its strong influence on the style of our wines. The Cabernet Franc here is less vegetal, more fruity than in cooler climates, with blackberry, blackcurrant and cassis aromas, accompanied by smoky notes. Elder flower aromas can come from the Alicant buschet, whikst the Syrah provides the backbone and tannins, which are velvety and fine grained. Very pronounced flavours and a rich velvety finish for a full bodied, rich and complex wine. Drink it after 3/4 years from the harvest, can hold for 10+ years.
